Guidelines & Parameters for Article Submission
Article acceptance is a competitive and merit-based process. Only articles that are original, well-researched, and written clearly with meaningful analysis will be considered for publication. Authors may be requested to revise and resubmit their work if required.
Submission Process
- All articles must be submitted exclusively via the online submission form:
What We Look For
- Original and insightful contributions to legal knowledge and discourse
- Research-driven analysis that remains relevant over time
- Specialized work adding value to evolving legal and socio-legal concepts
- Articles accessible to both legal experts and general readers
Articles That Will Not Be Accepted
- Responses to previously published articles
- Promotional or marketing-oriented content
- Articles intended solely for backlinking
- Content focused on funding of legal research
- Philosophical writings unrelated or weakly related to legal studies
- Previously published works without formal permissions
- Content that is defamatory or contrary to the objectives of LegalServiceIndia.com
- General book reviews (unless part of a detailed analytical discussion on law)
Formatting Requirements
- Language: English only
- Submission: Upload through the online submission form only
- File Format: MS Word / Notepad
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 13 pts
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1” on all sides
- Headings/Sub-headings: Capital letters not allowed (use bold instead)
- Paragraphs: Proper indentation with one-line spacing between paragraphs
- Quotations: Enclose within single quotes and highlight in bold
- References: Superscript numbers and chronological endnotes
Copyright & Permissions
Authors must ensure they have obtained necessary permissions for any third-party content (figures, tables, etc.). Articles must be accompanied by a Certificate of Originality, confirming authorship and transferring exclusive publication copyright to LegalServiceIndia.com after publication.
